OVERVIEW
This program will focus on the role of Mathematical modelling and scientific computing in understanding and illuminating our complex world. The development of computational methodologies and framework has been a mainstay of the Applied Mathematics community for more than 50 years. The workshop and training will expose participants to a broad range of topics related to Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing with MAPLE. Important applications with respect to Engineering, Industrial, Environmental and Biological problems will be considered. The Scientific program consists of lectures by international experts, group discussions and intensive laboratory demonstrations. The training sessions will have a tutorial structure, i.e. will include lectures and exercises.
